Wei-Wu He, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO

Wei-wu is a General Partner and Co-founder of Emerging Technology Partners LLC. Dr. He was also one of the first few employees of Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (NSDQ: HGSI). Dr. He currently is a director for Intradigm Corporation, MithraGen, Inc., and Amnis.
Dr. He has been awarded ten U.S. patents and has over twenty original research publications. He also serves on the board of many professional organizations.
Dr. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Nanjing University and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine. His previous research training experience includes two-and-one-half years of research fellowship at Mayo Clinic and two years of research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He also received his MBA from the Wharton School.

Mike Kerins, Non-Executive Director

Mike graduated from Warwick University in 1991 with a B.Sc. in Microbiology and Microbial Technology. Following this he joined Cambridge BioScience where he held a variety of commercial positions. In 1996 he co-founded Cytomyx and since then has led the Group through its listing on AIM and a series of financings and acquisitions. 

He has extensive experience in marketing genomics related products and services to the academic and pharmaceutical sectors in the UK and internationally. Mike is also a Director of ERBI, the biotechnology network for Cambridge and the East of England.
